Windows Patch Management

AgileBlue offers patch management for Windows via our partnership with Nodeware.

Overview

Beginning in June 2024, PRO subscribers to the AgileBlue Cerulean AI SecOps Platform have access to Patch Management via Nodeware. The services are available on any Windows device with the vulnerability scanning agent installed, offering a streamlined solution to address multiple vulnerabilities through a single patch deployment.

The features also include the ability to schedule reboots to ensure there is minimal disruption in your environment after patches have been completed.


How To Leverage Patch Management

  1. After logging in to Nodeware, navigate to your Asset View and click on Patch Management near the top of the page
  2. Select one or multiple devices to apply patches to by clicking the check-box on the left-hand side
  3. One selected, click on Create Task
  4. Select the applicable update under Updates to apply
  5. Schedule a reboot time, which corresponds to the local time of the asset (the default reboot time is 2 hours)
  6. Click Create Task

Tracking Progress

The progress of new patches pushed to your devices is tracked in four stages:

  1. New Task: Devices in this stage have received the request for the new patch, but the process has not begun
  2. In Progress: These agents have started the download process and are currently installing the updates
  3. Pending Reboot: This stage means the agents have completed the installation of the updates and the reboot is pending
  4. Complete: These agents have successfully received the updates and completed a reboot
