Update Your AgileBlue Cerulean Agent Version

The AgileBlue Cerulean Agent can be updated directly from your SOC Management Portal. This includes the ability to update individual agents, groups of devices, an entire deployment, or schedule updates in batches.

Supported Agent Versions

The following AgileBlue Agent versions can be automatically updated directly from the SOC Management Portal. Any versions below what is listed must be re-installed manually.

  • Windows
    • 2208.3 and newer
  • MAC
    • Coming soon
  • Linux
    • Coming soon

NOTE: Agent updates apply to servers and workstations only. Agent versions for syslog devices, cloud platforms, productivity platforms, and cloud applications are managed separately and do not impact the integrations.


How To Update Your Agents

  1. Log in to the AgileBlue SOC Management Portal
  2. Access the navigation bar and select Data Sources
  3. Click the check box on the left-hand side corresponding with each device you would like to update
    1. Optionally, click the check box in the header to automatically select all devices
  4. In the upper right-hand corner, click on the drop down menu Actions
  5. Select Upgrade # Agent(s) to push an immediate update OR click on Schedule Upgrade for # Agent(s) 
  6. On the corresponding pop-up, select the agent version you would like to update to and, if applicable, the desired rollout period
  7. Click Submit
  8. A confirmation window will appear reviewing the request. If the request is accurate, select Confirm
    1. A green up-arrow indicates the agent is being upgraded
    2. A red down-arrow indicates the agent is being downgraded

Verify Your Updates

The update status for each agent will be displayed in the Agent Update column on the Data Sources page.

  • N/A – Agent has not received or been scheduled for an update
  • Screenshot 2023-12-01 at 11.19.56 AM – Agent is fully up to date and was successfully updated at the date and time referenced
  • Screenshot 2023-12-01 at 11.21.53 AM – Agent is scheduled to update at the data and time referenced
