In additional to AgileBlue's built in Security Scorecard scans, PRO subscribers can set up external vulnerability scanning via our partnership with Nodeware.
Overview
In order to provide external vulnerability scanning, Nodeware hosts scanners with an enhanced toolset specific to web applications, servers, and other internet-facing services. Users can add IP addresses, such as VPN servers or firewalls, or domain names for websites, web applications, and more.
Adding Your External Assets
- From your vulnerability scanning assets page, click Manage Customer
- Select Sites & Interfaces
- Enter the domains, IP addresses, or IP address ranges you would like to scan
- If entering multiple assets or ranges, seperate each by using a comma
- NOTE: Subnets and single IP addresses cannot be mixed in the same submission
- Click Connect
Once connected, the list will update with the submitted assets. Scanning can begin once the assets are verified. Verification occurs within 24 hours and you will be notified if a submitted domain or IP fails this process or requires additional information.
Schedule Your Scans
External vulnerability scans can be repeated daily, weekly, monthly, or at an on-demand basis.
- Click the icon under Schedule for a selected asset
- Select your scanning frequency
- Click Update Schedule
NOTE: External scans can take between 10 minutes and an hour to be completed based on the number of services and the depth of the website/web application.
