      Deploy The Mac Cerulean Agent Via Intune & Other RMMs

      By leveraging AgileBlue's shell script, users can deploy the Cerulean Agent for Mac via Microsoft Intune and other RMMs. This guide specifically walks through the steps for Intune.

      Supported Cerulean Agent Versions

      • 2304.3.3

      Download Your Intune-Compatible Installer

      1. Log in to the AgileBlue Cerulean AI SecOps Platform
      2. Navigate to Agents in the left-hand menu
      3. Identify the Mac installer compatible with your environment:
        1. Mac Agent Installer: Mac devices with Intel chips (typically devices manufactured in 2020 and earlier)
        2. Mac ARM Agent Installer: Mac devices with ARM processors (more common)
      4. Click SH on the corresponding installer card to download the file
        1. NOTE: A pop-up will appear that references your API Key. The API Key will be required during the setup of your deployment script.

      Configure & Deploy The Script

      1. Open the shell file (either mac_installer3.sh or mac_arm_installer3.sh, depending on your version) and replace both instances of the phrase CHANGEME with your dedicated API Key gathered in the previous step
        1. NOTE: The API Key can also be found on your Alert Playbook page in the AgileBlue portal. The CHANGEME phrase must be replaced twice – on line 12 and again on the final line of the script.
      2. Log in to your Microsoft Intune Portal
      3. Navigate to Devices > Scripts and Remediations > Platform Scripts
      4. Click Add and then select macOS as the target platform
      5. Provide a name and description for the deployment (these fields can be customized to align with your organization's naming conventions)
      6. Click Next
      7. Upload the edited script file based on the architecture of the target devices:
        1. Intel-based Macs: mac_installer3.sh
        2. Apple Silicon Macs: mac_arm_installer3.sh
      8. Configure additional settings such as frequency and run behavior based on our organization's requirements
      9. Assign the script to the appropriate device group(s)
      10. Click Next
      11. Select Add to finalize and initiate the deployment
