Monitor Cisco Umbrella With AgileBlue

AgileBlue can monitor your Cisco Umbrella environment by collecting data from an AWS S3 bucket using an SQS notification queue or from a Cisco Managed S3 bucket.

Setup Process

To set up the integration with Cisco Umbrella, AgileBlue will need several values to be provided regarding your Umbrella setup. The details differ depending on if we will be collecting the data from an AWS S3 bucket using SQS or from a non-SQS bucket or Cisco Managed S3 bucket (most common).

The section below detail the information needed by AgileBlue in order to monitor your Cisco Umbrella platform.


Cisco Managed S3 Bucket (Recommended)

  1. Bucket ARN
    1. If the S3 bucket does not use SQS, this will be the address for the S3 bucket
    2. Ex. arn:aws:s3:::cisco-managed-eu-central-1
    3. A full list of Cisco Managed S3 buckets can be found here.
  2. Bucket Region (the region the bucket is located in)
  3. Bucket List Prefix
    1. Ex. 1235_654vcasd23431e5dd6f7fsad457sdf1fd5
    2. This value can be found in the S3 Web UI
  4. Access Key ID
  5. Secret Access Key

  1. Queue URL
    1. This will be the URL of the AWS SQS queue that messages are received from.
  2. Access Key ID
  3. Secret Access Key

Submitting Sensitive Data

The final step is to submit these sensitive details to AgileBlue. Once ready, please email support@agileblue.com and a specialist will send back an encrypted message. You will be able to respond to that message with the information detailed above.
